Good video (and perfect song to end with, made me think of Obama), though i think you should focus more on how the word democracy has been bastardized. If we accept this definition of democracy, which is purely doctrinal, or capitalist, then we're playing into the hands of "the man". Accepting this definition also requires that we disregard ethymology (we certainly wouldn't allow this with the term anarchy), which would tell us that democracy means power to the people (demos - people -- kratos - power), not to any centralized authoritarian institution that has been legitimized by way of popular vote.
