i suggest all of you read these links on wikipedia about youtube.
all of us use youtube, so all of us should know how it works and the problems with it. as you can see, it is a monopoly which is subsidized and has limited liability. this is obviously dangerous, especially when the choices youtube does are not made by it's users.

i dont know about other websites where you can share vids. i have checked out yahoo and google vids, and they're all taken from youtube. so if you know about others, please post em here. i dont know if anyone is willing to do this, but it would be really awesome if someone could start a website where people can share vids without any kind fo censorship, and with democratic control.

umm, what about dailymotion? not democratically run, but i don't think their vids are ripped from youtube...
